Hong Kong - 1997
We took Cathay Pacific Airline and had a very long layover in Hong Kong (the scariest landing in Hong Kong, you think you are going to land in the water for sure - thanks to the skilled pilots who are experts), so I decided to leave the airport and took a taxi downtown, a 25 min. drive and we did shopping for the day in Hong Kong en route to India - fun, and were able to walk through a few parks, lots of food around the market areas, and watched the people do Thai Chi in the park. Got a taste of the vibe in Hong Kong!
